As the Director of User Experience for Yahoo!'s membership and community goups, I was responsible for maintaining our login and registration pages. We simplified the UI of the page and optimized the email selection process by using suggestions based on data you entered about yourself. We localized the secret questions and answers so that they would be relevant in each country. During my time managing the registration experience conversion on the registration page increased by 22%.
As a hybrid researcher and designer I redesigned PeopleSoft's CRM products. This included new feature additions from PeopleSoft 8.0 to 8.5 and a redesigned toolbar. In this role, I also created a set of design patterns common to all our CRM products, in order to better standardize the end user experience and ensure that related interactions were consistent across applications. I wrote and created a web-based application style guide for designers and developers. This included detailed interaction and design specifications, spacing and layout requirements, general UI principals, design patterns, and links to developer's notes about each element.

The library contained UI standards, rules for use, and code snipets so that developers could build new forms and applications in a lightweight way. This also allowed FF to have consistency between applications.
